Torrent upload faster than download

By trepxes , June 30, in Speed Problems. How am I downloading only 25kps and uploading ? Seems like somethings really whacky or misconfigured. What kind of network connection do you have where you supposedly have 8 Mbit down and are currently uploading 2. You'll also probably need very conservative uTorrent settings I don't know if you managed to sort it with the advice given but what i would suggest is to limit your port connections as Switek suggested, override manual settings and in the options have your settings to "show speed in toolbar" and right click over the speed displayed in the bottom right corner.

Set your upload speed to 6kbs for 1 file download and your speed should increase dramatically if my upload is 50kbs i get 20kbs download, if its 8 i get kbs! After a minute or so right click again and set to 8 and keep doing this until you get your fastest speed which is normally between kbs upload per torrent but below 6 will limit your download to If you do it this way you'll get your fastest speed but with more than 1 torrent, as soon as 1 finishes, stop it as that will also slow you down if it's seeding but when you finish DON'T FORGET to start them seeding again for peers.

Resetting any of these devices is often the first step you need to take to see if the problem is real and long-term rather than just a bug. This will help you whether the problem is your device or your connection. Call your provider: If none of the things above tell you what the problem is, you might want to call your provider instantly. To do this: Go to the Device Manager type it in your search bar and hit Enter.

Find the Network Adapters and expand the section. Restart your computer. Open a new tab in your browser, type in one of these numbers, and hit Enter. In that case, this is a good indicator that the issue might be with your ISP.
